Mastercard Priceless Gift Finder

MasterCard's 2009 Holiday promotion, featuring Peyton Manning and Alison Hannigan peddling wacky gifts, helped users find the perfect gift for a friend or loved one. Users input details about the person they are finding a gift for and the application presented a few options from a curated list of Amazon's top products. Using Amazon's API users could also search through similar products and fulfill through Amazon's store.

My role

I worked as the Account Lead, Project Manager, and provided Art Direction as well as acted as the main integration lead between MasterCard, the ad agency, McCann Erickson, Amazon, and the PR firm. The project, and campaign were a wild success for MasterCard during the 2009 Christmas season. The SVP of marketing at MasterCard credited HUGE for ensuring the success of the first multi-platform social campaign that MasterCard had launched.

Facebook - Secret Gift Society

In addition to the main marketing site, a Facebook gift group app was built but never launched. The app, which was based on a secret Santa concept, allowed users to invite their friends to gifting groups, and use the Gift Finder application to find the perfect gift; providing an integrated, branded experience for MasterCard.
